When a life altering event happens most people are not prepared. It can be extremely devastating and uncertain to the individuals involved. Unfortunately it also can lead to financial hardship, recovering from such a disaster. Feeling overwhelmed in such a crisis can cause pet owner feeling that they have no other options but to surrender their beloved pets to overcrowded kill shelter. Companion Pets in Crisis was founded on the principal that no one should ever be faced with that decision, especially after losing everything else that they owned.
